2nd Shift Supervisor
The 2nd Shift Supervisor is responsible for the production flow and personnel involved in the Press Department as well as the strapper operator and service fork lift operators.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Make sure all work centers have required paperwork.
- Answer all calls to same machines for new items, 1st line quality checks, questions.
- Create daily shift report
- Use and understand the labor contract to ensure discipline
- Maintain inventory levels
- Housekeeping (5S) keep the floor clean and organized
- Maintain safety requirements in all aspects
- Maintain quality requirements in all aspects
- Make recommendations for improvements to equipment or procedures to enhance safety, quality and productivity
- Trouble shoot production problems
- Track, understand and reduce all causes of downtime
- Maintain the equipment thru either efficient use of personnel or assign to maintenance department
- Monitor the production data and employee diary card input in HRMS system for accuracy on a daily basis
- Communicate with payroll and production manager on attendance and vacations
- Supervise all personnel related to area of responsibility and have backups trained for every position and work with other supervisors to cross train in other areas
- Interface with other supervisors and managers and Quality Control on a professional level
- Achieve and maintain acceptable performance of set up times and run speeds while maintaining quality
- Any other duties as assigned by the Production Manager
- Maintain training records
- Be involved in the safety effort
- Work with Shipping Department to understand Production needs, allowing for best trailer utilization.
- Understand Shipping Roles, policies procedures
- Learn basic functions of Shipping Department

Sales Manager
Manage all sales personnel to assure all customers are given excellent service
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Give pricing guidance to customer service representatives and manager
- Manage the sales force to ensure good customer service
- Assist Customer Service Manager with decisions when there is a conflict between customer’s needs
- Monthly review commission reports and turn over to controller for payments
- Review all expense reports timely
- Visit customers as needed
- Travel with sales people as needed
- Other duties as assigned by General Manager or designee
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- 5 years of experience in corrugated
- College degree
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Must be an excellent communicator with well developed negotiating skills
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
- Understanding of cost accounting principles
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and internet to communicate
- Working knowledge of production equipment and plant capacity
- Proficient use of management information systems for corrugated

Valid driver’s license and good driving record

Assistant Sales Manager
Position Summary:
- Assists Sales Manager and other management positions in daily Sales and Plant Production efforts
Essential Job Functions:
- Assists with pricing guidance to customer service representatives and Sales Manager
- Assists the sales force to ensure good customer service
- Assists Customer Service Manager with decisions, conflicts, and with meeting customer needs
- Assists with reviews and commission reports that are then turned over to Controller for payment
- Timely reviews all expense reports
- Visits and supports customers as needed
- Travels with NEWW Sales Representatives as needed
- Assumes role as NEWW Sales Representative as time and circumstance allow
- Performs other duties as assigned by the General Manager, Sales Manager, or designee
Education and/or Experience:
- College experience with completion of a degree preferred

Sales Representative
Manage accounts for increased sales and improved profitability
Essential Job Functions:
- Manage customer accounts as assigned or developed
- Turn in all expenses on a monthly basis for payment
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with all customers
- Work closely with Customer Service Representative and Customer Service Manager to satisfy customer’s needs
- Work collaboratively with Prepress department to develop designs and samples to satisfy customer as well as increase productivity on the production floor
- Work collaboratively with the Accounting department to establish credit terms and maintain good payment terms
- Work collaboratively with production management to achieve on time deliveries
- Work collaboratively with quality to resolve any quality issues

General Laborer - 2nd Shift
General helpers are required to be flexible in their assignments. They will be required to assist in a variety of departments and positions to fill vacancies as needed.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Assist in feeding and stacking operations
- Assist in fork lift operations
- Assist in cleaning functions
- Painting, sweeping, shoveling, weeding, etc.
- Assignments as dictated by the Department Foreman
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
No educational requirements. Must have the ability to follow direction and take an assigned task to completion.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and employees of the company.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
A basic capability. Ability to add and subtract fractions. Ability to convert fractions to decimal equivalents. Ability to convert numbers to millimeters.
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Must be capable of reading a ruler.
- Must be capable of entering computerized diaries and manual diary cards.
