Sales Manager 

Manage all sales personnel to assure all customers are given excellent service

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Give pricing guidance to customer service representatives and manager
  • Manage the sales force to ensure good customer service
  • Assist Customer Service Manager with decisions when there is a conflict between customer’s needs
  • Monthly review commission reports and turn over to controller for payments
  • Review all expense reports timely
  • Visit customers as needed
  • Travel with sales people as needed
  • Other duties as assigned by General Manager or designee

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • 5 years of experience in corrugated
  • College degree

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

  • Must be an excellent communicator with well developed negotiating skills

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
  • Understanding of cost accounting principles

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and internet to communicate
  • Working knowledge of production equipment and plant capacity
  • Proficient use of management information systems for corrugated

Maintenance Mechanics/Technicians

  • The Maintenance Mechanics are responsible for fixing all manufacturing equipment and doing periodic maintenance functions to avoid downtime.
  • They are also responsible for the supporting equipment and facilities.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • All maintenance mechanics will be directed by the Department Foreman
  • Answer all requests for assistance by machine operators or department foremen
  • Maintain all maintenance department equipment in working order
  • Create and/or modify safety devices as directed by department foremen to create safe operations
  • Maintain own tools in good working order
  • Maintain safety in own operations as well as that of other workers
  • Maintain all fork lifts in good and safe condition
  • Maintain the tractors and trailers in good and safe condition
  • Assignments as dictated by the Department Foreman

  • No educational requirements. Must have the ability to follow direction and take an assigned task to completion.

Structural Designer

Reports to: Prepress Manager

POSITION SUMMARY: The structural designer is responsible for designing corrugated packaging to satisfy customer requirements as well as production limitations and capabilities.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Design structures for corrugated packaging to meet customer’s stated and unstated needs.
  • Translate customer requirements for packaging into production friendly designs.
  • Formulate and communicate ideas for new accounts or products, analyzing customer needs and production feasibility.
  • Accompany Sales Representatives to customers or prospects on occasion to present new designs or to troubleshoot problems.
  • Support all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Additional duties may be assigned by management.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • None

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • College education a plus
  • 5 years experience in CAD
  • Good communicator with customer and sales staff.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret requests for designs and communicate with managers, customers and the sales force.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.  Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.

Customer Account Specialist

At NEWW, we pride ourselves as being customer-focused. We are currently looking for a Customer Account Specialist to join our amazing team.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Key point of contact for customers and internal departments
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and communicate directly with customers and outside sales representatives either by telephone, electronically or face to face
  • Develop a working relationship with clients.
  • Coordinate and resolve customer complaints by directing requests and unresolved issues to the designated resource.
  • Coordinate with all departments to ensure all customer requests are responded to in a timely manner. This also applies to internal requests.
  • Provide customers with updates on shipments, delays, etc.
  • Obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle product and service inquiries
  • Provide pricing and delivery information
  • Continually train on and understand the principles of flexographic printing, corrugated packaging and food safety.
  • Process critical customer activities including order entry
  • Invoice and order issue resolution
  • Organize workflow to meet customer time frames
  • Accurate data entry in HRMS system
  • Process design requests
  • Request pricing from vendors
  • Receive and process customer purchase orders
  • Prepare and distribute customer activity reports (ie, inventory, sales reports, updated pricing) as needed and/or requested
  • Perform other similar duties as required or as requested by supervisor.
  • Support all sales persons assigned
  • Analyze job specifications and work with the prepress department for accurate machine routing information for quotations
  • Develop and prepare quotes, forward for review and approval, send to customers.
  • Maintain and update estimating data base, including updating standard and variable costs.
  • Resolve questions, concerns, and issues regarding quotes with clients and/or sales representatives
  • Perform other similar duties as required by responsibility or necessity or as requested by supervisor.
